What is the Recognition Workshop?

Some people are natural motivators.  But for many, the ability to recognize others effectively is a challenge.  The good news, it is a leadership skill that can be developed.

The Recognition Workshop is interactive training that teaches people the skills and strategies they need to effectively recognize and motivate others.  The action learning style provides a productive, fun, and comfortable training environment.  Techniques can be applied immediately.  Participants return to work energized with new skills and an action plan for how they are going to incorporate recognition into their work and personal lives.  Coaching relationships help ensure that the learnings are utilized long term.

In addition to leadership development, the Recognition Workshop is a great morale booster and team building activity, too!   The workshop wraps up with a Recognition Celebration for your group.  It is an ideal opportunity to recognize your employees' individual and team successes.

 

Is the Recognition Workshop just for managers?

Companies that make developing people a priority are more successful.  The ability to motivate others is a core leadership competency, therefore the workshop is recommended for both employees and management.  In addition, research reveals the critical role peers play in motivation...recognition is everyone's responsibility.

What makes this training different?

The Workshop Includes a Custom Recognition Survey Module

Each organization has its own unique culture and goals, so our training is tailored to meet your specific needs.

Prior to the workshop date, attendees will receive a Recognition Survey. You will have the opportunity to approve the questions that are most important to your team. The confidential data and feedback will be reviewed during the Survey Module to assess your company’s recognition culture, discuss strengths and areas of opportunity, establish goals, and create an action plan to continually improve.

 

How long is the Recognition Workshop?

The workshop begins at 8:30 a.m. and concludes at 5 p.m. 

 

How many people can attend the Recognition Workshop?

The workshop is designed for groups up to 150 people.  Since it is both an individual and team learning experience, a minimum of 10 participants is recommended.

How much does it cost?

$195 per person for groups of 10 - 50

$185 for each additional person

 Reasonable travel expenses for the facilitator may apply.

 

Are there any benefits for large groups?

Yes!   

"30"... Facilitator's travel expenses are covered for groups of 30 people or more who register at least 30 days in advance.  (Offer good for companies located in the Continental US.)

"50"...The registration fee is reduced for each additional person in a group of 50+ people. (51, 52, 53, etc.)

"100"... Each person in a group of 100+ will receive a motivational gift for their office or workplace.
